Long car journeys can be tough for everyone, not least for children. If you are heading on a day trip to the zoo or on your family holiday, then their excitement needs to be indulged to ensure your journey goes as smoothly as possible and that everyone arrives with a smile on their face.
There are many ways to help keep your children entertained in the holiday hire car, with everything from simple games that use things found in and outside the car for inspiration, to hi-tech gadgets that kids love. We have two sections on this site, one dedicated to the simple games you can play with your kids in the car, or games that they can play with each other, and a further section with a rundown of toys and gadgets that will fixate there attention long enough for you to take a nap (providing your not driving)!
Travel Tip: Make sure kids get plenty of chance to get out the car and stretch there legs. Also be sure they get enough to eat and drink as this will help stop them getting cranky!
